CUDDALORE: The public hearing on the proposed Cuddalore Power Company project will be held at the District Development Council Hall here on Wednesday.
In a statement released here, District Collector Rajendra Ratnoo said that the villagers had been issued tokens to ensure their bona fides.
This measure had been adopted to keep away the trouble mongers.
The last public hearing witnessed noisy scenes created by outsiders. The Collector further said that environmental and consumer organisations and elected representatives could put
their views on the project in writing and hand them over to him at the camp office on Wednesday from 10 a.m.
