SPIC Spews Black Smoke

Cuddalore, 11 March, 2008 — At 4 a.m. on 10 March, 2008, SACEM monitor S. Pugazhendi observed a major release of thick black smoke from SPIC Pharma. The smoke was blowing towards the sea as the wind direction was from West to East. Indicative of a major upset, the smoke pollution lasted two hours.
