Cuddalore, 3 May 2005: Murugavel, a contract worker from Chennai at SPIC Pharma died after meeting with an accident inside the factory yesterday. According to the sources Murugavel was engaged in the activity of smoke stack removal when the accident took place. He fell on one of the metal rods from the stack that went through his body. He was taken to a private hospital in Cuddalore town but died within hours of being admitted.
So far no complaint has been filed with the Inspector of Factories yet.
