Cuddalore, 14 June 2015: One migrant worker died in an accident during the construction of the IL&FS power plant in Cuddalore. According to sources the accident took place on 13th June 2015, when Surender, a migrant worker from Jharkhand, got stuck inside the cement mixer machine when a coworker un-knowingly switched it on.
Surender was rushed to the hospital but died on the way.
Portnova police inspector has filed a case in this regard and is currently investigating the matter.
