Cuddalore, 24 April 2006: Yet another pollution patrol report and the observations are pretty much similar to the past few reports. There has been no change in the air quality of SIPCOT. The SACEM monitors have conducted a second pollution patrol in 24 hours (after last nights incident of injury to one of their members while patrolling). The conditions prevalent in SIPOCT raises serious questions about the claims of the TNPCB of strict enforcement of rules and regulations. Its attitude clearly indicates its callousness towards the public health. With this attitude the TNPCB will soon have another Bhopal to answer for.
