Air Emissions in Cuddalore Continue to be Critical; SPIC the latest offender

Cuddalore, 5 July 2008: SACEM monitors have continuously reported about the deteriorating air quality in and around SIPCOT Cuddalore. In their latest complaint they have reported about the heavy emissions of SPIC pharma where the unit has been found spewing thick clouds of smoke in the air for at least 3 hours on the early morning from 3 am to 6 am on 4 July 2008.

According to the monitors, they have caught SPIC emitting noxious smoke in the atmosphere very often and all their complaints regarding this unit have been ignored on a regular basis.
